We warmly welcome walkers to enjoy the stunning public footpaths that pass through St Enodoc Golf Club. These routes offer breathtaking views of the coastline and a chance to experience the natural beauty of this unique links landscape.

However, we kindly ask that all footpath users respect that they are crossing a busy, championship-standard golf course. Golf balls can travel at speed and may pose a risk if care is not taken. Please follow these important guidelines to help keep everyone safe:

  • Walkers have right of way at all times – golfers are reminded of this regularly.
  • Stay on public footpaths which are marked by white stones. Avoid straying into playing areas or crossing fairways except where marked.
  • Be alert and aware – golfers may be playing from distance. If you hear the shout of “Fore”, it is a warning that a ball may be heading in your direction.
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept under close control, on a lead, and any mess must be cleared up immediately.
  • Do not linger in exposed areas, particularly on tees or near greens where play is concentrated.
  • Respect signage and QR codes that offer real-time information about specific crossing points.
  • Rangers patrol the course and may ask you to move to a safer walking route.

The safety of both our members and the public is extremely important to us. We carry out regular risk assessments, work closely with the local authority, and strive to balance access with the demands of an active golf course.

If you have any concerns or would like more information, please contact the Club Office.

Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your walk.
