A good long iron or rescue club at the marker post leaves you with a tricky but playable wedge shot to the green, you can use your driver but a miss to the right will be a lost ball !

Great fun hole very driveable - beware the right hand side hedge though, alternatively two irons will see you on the green which slopes away from you from the front to back.

Risk and reward hole easily driven- but anything left is out of bounds. Perfect play is a long iron at the mound just right of the green then a straightforward pitch and run shot.

Good tee shot down the left side of the fairway will leave a relatively simple pitch shot to the green. Longer hitters can definitely reach this hole.

Hole Fourteen

Hole Fourteen
Par 4. 345 yards.

There are two ways of playing this hole - either a long iron up the left side of the fairway to leave a medium to short iron into a raised green, or be brave and aim between the two trees with a driver or three wood to leave a more straightforward pitch.

In Henry Cotton's own words 'one of the finest par 3's in the country' very strong hole indeed - a very accurate iron is required to an upturned saucer of a green, only your best shot will do to achieve a par!.
