St Enodoc is hosting the Men’s County Finals this weekend; the Ladies have just had held theirs at Selby GC. The clear winners were Surrey for whom St Enodoc Ladies Champion Holly Justice, now 16, was playing for the first time this season.

Surrey up to the last round had won all their matches having beaten Northumberland 5-0, Somerset 4-1, Lincolnshire 4-1, and Norfolk 3-2. Buckinghamshire had also won all of theirs but not quite so convincingly which made Surrey favourites. In the end, ironically playing against Buckinghamshire, in what turned out to be a nail biting final they won 3-2 to take the trophy.

Holly, playing Foursomes throughout, had up to the final round won all her matches in the both the regional final and final and was disappointed not to make a clean sweep going down 3&2 against Bucks but Surrey still won 3-2 to win.
