Age is no barrier when playing golf and as testament to this statement Frank and Lorna Harper came first on Friday night in the mixed foursomes competition with a fabulous 40 points.  They pipped Norman Evans and Larry Barnecutt into second place with the same score but they lost on count back.  The competition was great fun followed by excellent food in the clubhouse.

We have various mixed events in the calendar for the remainder of the year, please look at IG or ask Chris Smyth for the dates.  The next event on the Holywell is Friday 1st August which is a Greensomes competition followed by a mixed aggregate competition on Sunday 3rd August on both courses.
