A total of 60 players took part in our 36-hole Mixed Scratch Open competition, which is
always a demanding challenge. With the men playing from the Blue tees and the ladies
from the Yellow tees, the course provided a particularly good test of golfing ability.
The weather was very benign in the morning, with a slightly stronger breeze developing
during the afternoon. The course was presented exceptionally well by William Smith and
his team, and it played particularly well throughout the competition. This is a testament
to their hard work and dedication, especially given the difficult conditions leading up to
the event.

There were some excellent scores and some very impressive golf played throughout the
day. We are delighted to announce the following results:
