Congratulations to Louis Archer who makes it to the Semi-Final defending his County Championship.
Louis started the County Championship hosted by our neighbours at The Point at Polzeath. Louis qualified in 15th place with scores of 77 (+5) and 82 (+10) in what were very testing conditions on Wednesday. He then won beat Tiernan Wallwork (Tehidy Park) 2&1, followed by an impressive 5&4 victory against Billy Downing (Truro) on Thursday afternoon. Louis then got back to action on Friday morning holding his nerve with a 2 Up victory against Steve Waddell (Carlyon Bay).
Louis unfortunately came up just short against Joseph Ibbs-George (Perranporth) by a score of 4&3.
Congratulations Louis on a fine few days of golf. Everyone at the Club is immensely proud of your achievement.
