St. Enodoc Golf Club - Work starts on the 18th tee complex

Work starts on the 18th tee complex

As detailed in the Club's email to all Members on the 18th September last work started yesterday on improving the 18th tee area.

The Greens Forum, under the Chairmanship of Neil Bradley, have agreed that the uneven teeing areas and the pathways and approaches were in need of attention, with the pathways in particular being in a very poor state currently. The principle objectives of the new design will be to improve the teeing areas, and shallow the approaches to each teeing area from the current gradients in situ, and reformat the exit from the tee more directly, fit new paths with a longer lasting harder wearing material, this will help reduce the erosion pinch points on exit from the 17th green and approach to the 18th tees.

There are more photographs on our Facebook page and more will be posted there this week as the work proceeds.
