John Rowe and Phil Hoare scored 39 points to take first place, with a birdie on the first, they had a strong front nine. Their back nine was not quite equal to Rory McIlroys form but was enough to keep them ahead.
Keith Searle and Mark Jarvis were second with 38 points. 3rd – 6th place all scored 37 points, with Paul Clemens and Richard Parsons ahead on countback to take 3rd place. David Pooley and Martin Wilson were 4th, Nick Shelley and Keith Thompson, 5th, and Andy Bunt and Russell Combellack finished in 6th place.
