The rain was lashing and the wind blowing like mad on Saturday, but 35 members braved the weather to play in the 4th round of the Williams Cup. Apparently, the wind was so strong at times that it was blowing the players off their putts!
Mark Jarvis and Richard Lawrence took no notice of the weather at all and scored 36 points to win the competition by 4 clear points. Richard even pulled a birdie out of the bag on the 15th!
In second place, Danny Hoare and Keith Searle scored 31 points beating James Hutchings and Byron Weston on countback. The final prize went to Stuart Fleet and Matthew Smith in 4th place with 29 points.
