The weather conditions for yesterday's mens competition would have deterred all but the most hardy, not say foolish, of ducks. Today, whilst largely sunny, the temperature was more Pyeongchang than Rock and delivered by a 30 mph northerly. None of this was enough to put off the brave golfers of St Enodoc who ventured forth onto both the Holywell and Church Courses with their partners - some in hope others in anticipation. At least the Members were lucky enough to have a dry course to play on - no temporary greens or tees.
The organisers having noted the possibility of hail showers and possible hypothermia limited the event to twelve holes on the Church and fifteen on the Holywell.
Those who managed the cold and wind best were:
1st Mary & Charles Rayment 19 points
2nd Larry Barnecutt & Ian Day 18 points
1st Bobbie & Tony Rounsevell 29 points
2nd Sue & Kevin Richards 27 points
