Teams from twenty three golf clubs travelled to Mullion on Thursday 3rd July to compete for the Handicap Shield which is awarded to the Club team with the best three aggregate scores over eighteen holes. The four St Enodoc players teed off just before midday in bright sunshine. However, the breezy conditions increased the difficulty of this challenging course resulting in a slow pace of play. Vice-President’s Final
The final of the Vice- President’s Cup took place on Sunday 24th June between Heather Brewer and Trudie Tensjo, both experienced match players who were keen to add this title to their collection of awards. Heather got off to a flying start and established a healthy lead after the front nine holes, she was able to maintain this high standard of play around the turn and although Trudie battled valiantly it was to no avail and Heather closed out the match with holes to spare.
