Andrew Farrant is a country Member, of Padstow origin, now living in Lincolnshire. On his own admission he gets to St Enodoc not as often as he would like. However he offers this “strange but true” anecdote to see perhaps if it sparks off any other such stories.
\"I was playing in a NSPCC charity day at Elsham Hall, near Brigg in North Lincolnshire, - where Tony Jacklin cut his golfing teeth - when one of our group hit a duck hook off the 10th into deep, scrubby rough. While helping to look for the errant tee shot I stood on a well buried ball. I managed to dig it out and, on wiping the mud away, I found the ball had the St Enodoc logo on it. I happened to be wearing my navy blue v-necked jumper purchased from Mr Williams’ pro shop, which also had the St Enodoc logo on it. The chances of that happening all the way in deepest Lincolnshire???……….\"
