With the Salver drawing to its conclusion the last few rounds in the series were the ideal opportunity to build on already good scores. Needing five scores to count it was all to play for. There was a reduced field, but Mary Rayment took advantage and won the 8th round played on the 23rd February with 30pts, while Caroline Hume-Kendall picked up the maximum points for this round of the series.
With two rounds left in the Salver to play, the weather seemed to have put people off and again a reduced field entered the penultimate round on 9th March. This time Di Dingle took the opportunity to add to her series with a score of 25pts. Annie Cruse, Sue Roworth and Vicki Stevenson also added to their tally.
In the final and deciding round of the series played on 23rd March, Mary Rayment pipped Tamsin Blake on count back with a great score of 32pts. All was not lost as this meant that Tamsin got the maximum points for this round and ultimately won the Stableford Salver with 97pts and Sue Roworth following closely as runner up with 93pts.
