On Sunday St Enodoc played Burnham and Berrow at home. This is one of only two regular friendly matches in the calendar for the Men's Section, and is always keenly contested. Burnham and Berrow could only field a team of 10, which meant we were also restricted in participant numbers this year. Playing in what can only be described as perfect summer links golf weather, the St Enodoc team rose to the challenge and came home with a convincing 4:1 win over the guests.
The truncated match finished relatively early and, following a delicious post match meal (thanks again to Iain, Wappo and the team), there was plenty of time for everyone to retire to the bar to watch England thrash New Zealand in the cricket.
All in, a great day's sport!
