St Enodoc Seniors enjoy their annual visit to Lanhydrock

Frank Harper still playing like a twenty year old !

On Thursday 26th July 40 senior members made their annual Pilgrimage over to Lanhydrock Golf Club to play in their Senior's open. As was usual we were all given a warm welcome on another hot and sunny day. The course was as dry as we have ever seen it, well presented and with very true greens the scores overall were excellent.
Stuart Morley put up a strong defence of the trophy he won last year scoring 37 points, but it was left to two of our Super Seniors to show us all how it was done. Frank Harper was the leader in the clubhouse scoring 40 points, but when all the scores were in there were four scores of 40 stableford points with Frank coming 2nd on countback. John Russell put a very good round together scoring 38 points and came 1st in the Super Senior section, only one prize per player.
The Junior Seniors are now trying to find out what the secret was to their success. (Temperance and early to bed perhaps ?)
After the golf we were all treated to a delicious carvery, thank you Lanhydrock for another excellent day, I am sure we will all be back in 2019.
