On a warm dry Wednesday the old boys travelled South West to play at Tehidy Park for the return match following a convincing home win earlier in the year. Playing on a parkland course that was in excellent condition the sight of trees filled many with trepidation. One old boy was heard to say that “we have one of those at our course”.
The final result was a narrow home win 4.5 to 3.5. Clutching at straws the Captain of the day, Steve Smith, claimed an overall victory based on the 6 to 2 win at St Enodoc. Everyone enjoyed an excellent meal after a lovely late summers day playing golf.
