St. Enodoc Golf Club - Seniors on the road at Lanhydrock GC
The 'Old Saints' enjoyed a lovely day playing away at Lanhydrock. As usual we were giving away plenty of shots to our opponents, 80 to be exact!
It was a pleasure to include Pat Bradbury and Paul Godfrey in the team, first match of the season for both players.
The golf course itself was surprisingly lush and green in comparison to our own course currently. The greens were in good order although a tad slow.
We were made to feel most welcome by Seniors Captain Stuart Harris and his team members, both on the course as well as in the bar and restaurant.
The match itself was closely contested with Lanhydrock narrowly winning 4.5 - 3.5.
Nearest the pin on the 15th hole was Peter Lowe.
A good result for us away from home: We look forward to hosting Lanhydrock for the return match in September.
