An excellent away win for the Seniors at Bowood Park. A resounding 5 1/2 to 2 1/2 victory leaves the team in a very strong position for the return in July.
It came as quite a shock to some to "give" so many shots in a game, but experience of fast (good) greens and blustery winds ensured a comfortable victory. As usual, the games were played in a competitive, but friendly spirit that reflects well on the players and clubs alike.
Nearest the pin - a tricky 180 yard short hole - was won by Colin Earle. However, Captain of the day is claiming the "longest drive " (a mere 440 miles -!!)
