The men decided to take on the course this week and test their golfing skills by playing off the blue tee's. Whoever said size matter's was obviously wrong and John Rowe proved it! The course is 257 yards longer off the blue tee's compared to the white's, which in itself takes some doing and is out of some people's comfort zone, but when the golf god's are on your side nothing can go wrong.
There was a field of seventy six for this stableford competition with twenty percent finishing with 30pts or more. John scored an impressive 38pts with seven par's on the front nine and received a sizeable handicap cut for his efforts. In second was a score of 34pts, but it went on countback with David Pooley having a better back nine. Ryan Perring and David Lupton who also had 34pts had identicals scores on the front and back nine, but Ryan claimed third place with a better back six. The scores following were very close with Matthew Warr having 33pts, Finn Ellis and Joe Combellack both on 32pts and Giles Pickford, Matt Smith and Nigel Goodman with 31pts.
