The mixed bag of weather suited the mixed up competition this Saturday. The Red White and Blue Competition is a team event with 18 holes played from a set course of red, white and blue tees. On the red tees all 4 scores must count, on the white tees 3 scores count and on the blue tees 2 scores count.
The winning team was made up of Guy Hovil, Ken Perring, Bill Gowans and Mike Kent. Between them they scored 112 points. In second place Andy Bunt, Mike Buse, Nigel Buse and John Paul scored 111 points, and Martin Biddle, Richard Hawken, Steve Cock and Andy Burt finished 3rd with 110 points. 4th place went to Stuart Fleet, Rod Frost, Lewis Bradley and Neil Bradley who scored 107 points.
