Saturday was hot and sunny, so the pressure was on for the President's Cup. The President's Cup is a Medal competition with the Cup awarded for the best nett score.
There were 73 entries into the competition, with 20 NR's and 2 DQ's! Wayne Mitchell finished with a gross 89 to win with nett 68, he has been cut now to a 19 handicap.
In second place, Guy Hovil had the lowest gross of the day - 71 to finish with a nett 69, he was just ahead of Richard Hawken (nett 69) on countback.
Mark Luxton finished with nett 71 in 4th place and John Paul, Mike Masters and Stuart Morley were 5th, 6th and 7th respectively all with nett 72. Kerry Carthew finished 8th with nett 73 and just in the prizes Andy Carthew had net 74.
