It is with sadness and great regret that we have to inform Members of the death of Ollie Gadney and who was killed whilst out cycling. Out for a spin with a friend Ollie was hit head on by a car.
Aged 45 and a Member of St Enodoc since 2004 he leaves a wife Jo and two daughters.
Ollie was educated at Eton and Manchester University. For some 5 years he worked for the Jaguar Formula 1 team (now Red Bull) on their sponsorship programme. In 2004 he joined the Swiss Bank UBS initially on their sponsorship programme but in recent years in their Public Relations Department. He was also involved in the UBS sponsorship of Formula 1.
Married Jo, a lifelong St Enodoc Member, in 2004 they have two daughters Sienna (14) and Natasha (12). In 2018 he suffered a near fatal stroke from which he made an almost complete recovery.
Ollie played to 7 handicap and as a Member of Royal Wimbledon won the prestigious Mothers & Sons competition at Burhill, he has also been a Member of Royal St Georges since the age of 18. Ollie was a regular participant in the "Farmers" when in Cornwall.
