St. Enodoc Golf Club - Music at the 19th on Monday July 20th

A very special evening.

The Chris Treglown Foundation Fund is a Fund set up in memory of Chris Treglown from St. Minver who tragically died in 2012 . Chris was a born performer and had a passion for singing. Those who heard him perform were always blown away with his beautiful voice.
The Fund aims to provide young talented singers the opportunity to pursue their musical journey through an annual award & workshops for young people.
The Fund is in it\'s fourth year and this year at the Golf Club past & present recipients of the Award will perform . The singers will be Jonny Hyde who is studying at the Guildhall in London, George Clark who is in the Truro Cathedral choir and will be studying music at a higher level very soon, George Turner who is in his first year studying at the London College of Music, Gilly Wells who is going to begin her Masters course in vocal & opera at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire in September, Sian Voller who has just finished her first year at the Scottish Conservatoire &  Matt Perry who is in his first year at the London College of Music. The 2015 Cornish recipient will be presented that evening, following results from  the auditions which are being held on July 18th in Cornwall.
The performers will sing a mixture of classical and well loved musical theatre favourites. The level of talent from these young people is amazing and it will be a very special event. Maria Jagusz who is a professional classical singer, singing teacher and director of MJUK will be present at the event and hopefully perform that evening.
