The Captain was going to rename the Pandora's Box and call it the Pandemic Pick Me Up, but thought better of it and decided on Monte Carlo 'Deluxe' instead!
A full tee sheet of twenty nine teams turned out to have a flutter on the golf course. The results were always going to be interesting with this all or nothing format, but the team of Shaun Beare, John Rowe, Andy Golding and Kerry Carthew came out on top with a cracking score of 165pts, 87 of which were scored on the front nine. It would appear that that front nine score wasn't the highest. That honour would go to the team of Philip Hine, Paul Webber, Graham Keeble & Peter Chinnery who finished in second and had 104 on their front nine eventually posting 162pts. Keeping it in the family another 'Team Beare' made up of Andy Beare, Andy Griffiths, Danny Hoare & John Twiggs sneaked into third place on countback with a better back nine with 152pts followed by Rob Cook, Steve Buse, Russell Combellack & Nigel Buse also on 152pts. And last, but by no means least the winners of the Angus Scott, James Hutchings and Byron Weston made it into the prizes again with their team mates Josh Taylor and Sam Mead with 151pts.
The full results sheet can be found on the clubhouse noticeboard.
