Monday 23rd March 2020 - St Enodoc Golf Club - Status Update
From Tuesday 24th March 2020 further measures to try and combat the spread of the Coronavirus will be implemented as is being instructed by the Government in their attempts to prevent a tidal wave of sick people overwhelming the NHS.
Four our part this means we will not be allowing visitors to the Club and will be restricting Members to play in 2 person groups as a maximum (no foursome format allowed) until further notice.
The Church Course will be restricted to 12 holes only - there will be no holes or flags positioned on holes 10 -15 The club has taken this decision to allow walkers to use the fairways to better able them to follow social distancing guidelines. The 10th hole has a single file footpath which is particularly concerning at this time and hopefully this decision will keep the public safer on our golf course.
All competitive play will be suspended, and any members that have booked a competition start time slot must re- book in the above format (NORMAL TEE BOOKING) if you are still planning on visiting.
Those members who wish to continue playing golf we request that you book your tee times and pay for any guest in advance by telephoning and paying by debit or credit card only.
If you are planning to continue playing golf the only area of the Clubhouse that will have access will be the Changing Rooms and the policy for entry in to retrieve your clubs and equipment will be on a one in one out basis. There will be a member of staff to supervise this, and they will request that you sanitise your hands on the way in and out of the building.
Please adhere to the Government advice on Social Distancing and stay 'at least 2 metres apart from each person'.
We appreciate your ongoing cooperation and patience.
We will continue to give updates as and when further decisions have been actioned.
Stay safe and well
