With hard rain welcoming us at St Enodoc on Tuesday morning some brave souls ventured on to both courses. The Hoskin Cup with a medal format was played for on the Church Course and despite the wet conditions Meg Godfrey played extremely well and won the cup, also cutting her handicap from 10 to 9 with a nett 74. Terri Gliddon also beat the weather to come in with a nett 75 and reduce her handicap by 1 to 17. In third place was Kathy Biddle with a nett 78. On the Holywell Course only 2 players entered the Beason Cup with both players having a nett 74. Rose Jones beat Janet Walton on countback.
Sadly we lost the Mail on Sunday 8th Round at Neath the report for which is separate.
