The Lady Vets together with the Senior Men got together for a Lamb Gambol on the Holywell Course playing a mixed Better Ball Stableford the full details of this event have already been reported by the Seniors.
On Tuesday 15th May the Ladies again took the opportunity to play off some of the mens yellow tees in a Red/Yellow Competition. The wind was extremely strong and although rain threatened, thankfully it remained mainly dry. Most players found the conditions hugely challenging but Celia Jarvis obviously has been practicing in the wind as she managed to score 33 points to win Division One. Beth Elliott and Sue G Jones both scored 28 points to take second and third places respectively. In Division 2 Sarah Fisher battled the wind to take first place with 26 points followed by Viv Steer on 21 points and Bobbie Rounsevell on 18 points.
St Enodoc Ladies, having had a bye in the first round, now face West Cornwall in the Second Round of the Gammon Trophy. This will be played at Falmouth on Sunday 3rd June. We also await the draw for the next round of the Mail on Sunday Competition.
