After some good results earlier in the season, the League Teams have battled hard but have been unable to add to the St Enodoc points tally in matches at Launceston, Newquay, Falmouth and Perranporth.
On Wednesday 24th August, the St Enodoc team returned to winning ways with a fine home win against Perranporth.
Meg Godfrey (won 5&4) v Angie Chapman
Penny Cartwright (won 1 up) v Jackie Mallett
Kath Biddle v Anna Sendall (won 3&1)
Marie Bradbury (won 2&1) v Vera Eade
Pauline Meredith (halved) v Niki Wraight (halved)
Maxine Rich (won 6&5) v Liz Gillman
Cath Buscombe v Jane Rowse (won 2&1)
St Enodoc 41/2 Perranporth 21/2
The points from this home win may be enough to elevate St Enodoc out of a relegation position, however with two matches remaining against Killiow and Launceston our Division One status remains in the balance and it’s all still to play for.
