A stableford competition was played on Friday to find the clubs qualifiers for the National Daily Mail Foursomes. The top four pairs now go into a 2 round knockout. These were Meg Godfrey and Trudie Tensjo, Jax Buse and Penny Moon, Mary Baillie and Julie Smith and Trudie Tremain and Barbara Willmott.

On Wednesday Pauline Meredith represented St Enodoc in the Final of the County Vice Presidents Cup. To get to the final Pauline had won a knockout competition at St. Enodoc and then progressed to the final in the County Knockout. Pauline, who had only reduced her handicap to 17 the previous day, played Liz Bird of Newquay, who plays off 3, at Lanhydrock Golf Club. Unfortunately Pauline lost to Liz but took her opponent to the 16th hole losing 3 and 2 which was a great achievement against a strong and long hitting player. Well Done Pauline!!
