As always, the Stableford Competition format is probably the most popular and this week was no different. Sixty four ladies across both courses turned out to play on another glorious day in our beautiful County. The course conditions hadn't changed much even with the bit of rain that we had over the weekend, but the ladies had the measure of it!
This is definitely Meg Godfrey's favourite format having won in the Stableford Competition two weeks ago. Not to be outdone this week, Meg took top spot again pipping Penny Cartwright on countback with 38 points. In Division 2, Barbara Hawkins and Julie Finch improved on their prizes this week finishing first with 30 points and second with 29 points on countback after picking up second and third places respectively in the last Stableford.
On the Holywell, it was Sue Walker's turn to lead the scoreboard with a fabulous 39 points followed closely by another regular prizewinner Anne Mayne with 37 points on countback.
Next week's Competition is the Hoskin's Cup on the Church and The Beason Medal on the Holywell.
