The Ladies Open winners Nicky Gawman, Fiona Parsons & Keeley Clarke with St Enodoc's Mary Baillie
66 Ladies from 20 clubs in Cornwall & Devon entered the St Enodoc Annual Ladies Open Competition on Tuesday 19th June. Thankfully, our Lady Captain Diana Mindel had ordered the weather and the course was in tip top condition for the occasion. Everything looked set to go without a hitch, but you can never account for the traffic as some of our entrants from Devon found out just making their tee time! An event which normally proves to be popular was no different this year, with a welcome of homemade cakes baked by our lady members and refreshments it set a lovely tone for the day. The ladies enjoyed good weather, good course conditions, good company and good food with one or two making the prizes. The Devon ladies took the top spot with last years winners from Perranporth coming in second. A raffle on the day with prizes generously donated by club members raised in the region of £200 for the Little Harbour Children's Hospice Southwest.
A big thank you to all the staff for the smooth running of the day, to the St Enodoc ladies who gave their time and to all the ladies who came and supported the St Enodoc Ladies Open. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
