In the most recent Roworth Salver Chris Dymond was the winner with 35 points and Vicky Stephenson came second with 34 points on countback. Soon afterwards another Stabelford Salver was played and Jan Derry came in first with 28 points on countback from Sue G Jones who is looking to be a strong contender to win the series with one more round to play. On Tuesday the weather was kind and this gave Lynn Ashcroft the chance to find her form and produce a brilliant nett 68. This cut her handicap by 3 from 25 to 22 and made her the winner of division 2 by a long way. In second place was Edna Alford on nett 79 and Gloria Crouch was third with a nett 80. In Division 1 Fiona Lunt has come back from injury to perform well scoring a nett 76 to win. In Second Place was Penny Moon with a nett 77 and third was Sarah Sandercock with a nett 78. On the Holywell Course Annabel Woolcott made the most of the friendly conditions producing a nett 61 which cut her handicap by 2 to 29 and won her the competition. In second place was Chrissie Henderson with a nett 66 on countback from Margaret Godwin in third.. St Enodoc Ladies have drawn Treloy at home in the third round of the Mail on Sunday and are looking forward to arranging the match.
The final of the Holywell Winter Foursomes Knockout has now been played in which Cath Buscombe and Ann Worden beat Jo Hayden and Annabell Woolcott.
