The St Enodoc Ladies Charity coffee morning was held on Friday 14th March in aid of The Cornwall Food Foundation which was set up to give disadvantaged young people in Cornwall a platform to discover their true potential.
Twenty teams of three were treated to coffee and cake on arrival before enjoying a round of golf on the Holywell Course in calm but misty conditions. The Lady Vets were responsible for a wonderful cake stall which was laden with delicious home- made delights to tempt all the visitors. On returning to the clubhouse, after enjoying a satisfying lunch, players were treated to an entertaining cookery demonstration by Training and Development Chef Karl Jones from Fifteen Cornwall. Karl gave an enlightening presentation on the demands of running this contemporary training programme and highlighted the successes of this pioneering enterprise so far.
Ladies Captain, Jax Buse was delighted to hear that all the visiting players had thoroughly enjoyed their day and thanked everyone for supporting her chosen charity.
