The St Enodoc Ladies AGM was held on Tuesday 5th November. Ladies Captain Lynn Ashcroft reviewed some of the highlights of the past year which included:
Lynn introduced a new format for the annual coffee morning which proved to be a resounding success and the Ladies Section has flourished under her leadership, she expressed heartfelt thanks to all those who have helped her during the year and was presented with a leaving gift from new Ladies Captain, Jax Buse.
Jax announced her chosen charity to be The Cornwall Food Foundation which manages the Fifteen Cornwall Apprentice Programme. Their mission is to inspire people in Cornwall through food and enable those in greatest need to achieve meaningful, sustained change through training, employment and better life opportunities, while adding value to the local economy. Jax emphasized how much she is looking forward to her year as Ladies Captain and she is keen to build a comprehensive squad of players able to compete at the highest level. Jax will be ably supported this year by Vice Captain Trudie Tensjo and the Ladies’ Committee including new committee members, Tamsin Blake and Diana Mindel.
After the presentation of all the cups and trophies, members enjoyed a cheese and wine buffet.
