St Enodoc hosted the annual Dallas Scramble and in contrast to last year's drizzly day, Saturday 8 September was glorious sunshine with no wind, absolutely perfect golfing weather. We had 30 children representing 10 clubs in Cornwall provided a good turnout. Each team had a lady from St Enodoc G.C. as their team leader, a low handicap girl and two high handicap juniors (at least one of which was a St Enodoc Junior). The low handicap girls team were made up of 8 County girls team players and a huge thanks must go to them for their commitment which will have inspired many of the younger golfers and their Captain Abi Maude for presenting the prizes. Junior handicaps varied from 6 to 54. Ages ranging between 9 and 18. A really big thank you too to the ladies of St Enodoc for supporting the juniors, Lorna Harper, Edna Alford, Pauline Wilkins, Judy Redman, Maxine Rich, Rose Jones, Bobbie Rounsevell, Pat Parry, Barbara Willmott and Sue Moore.
