61 members played in the second round of the John Cory Cup on Saturday. The Cory Cup is a series of 6 rounds with 3 of those rounds to count towards the final result.
James Hutchings has put himself in a very strong position in the Series with his win this Saturday giving him 20 points on top of the 19 points he picked up in round 1. This week James scored 36 points with a birdie on the 16th.
In second place Joe Tamblyn scored 34 points having birdied the 15th, he beat Paul Clemens and Joe Combellack on countback who took 3rd and 4th place respectively. In 5th place Bob Cruse scored 33 points and also took the sweep money as the highest scorer to enter the sweep.
Matt Smith finished in 6th place with 32 points ahead of Andy Bunt on countback who took 7th place. Tris Lang came in 8th with his score of 31 points.
