HARRY CHAMPION MEMORIAL 2018

Harry Champion commonly known as 'Gook' was a past County Champion and a left hander playing with right handed clubs ( clickey )winning in 1969 at the age of 51 at St Enodoc.

Harry was eventually given honorary membership of St Enodoc and he was also a honorary member of Launceston, Mullion, Perranporth, & West Cornwall Golf Clubs. Annually a golf tournament is held in his honour at one of the above clubs plus a team of Nomads who Harry played with on a regular basis.

Representing St. Enodoc is a team who played or was associated with Harry as Artisan members at Daymer Bay. Teams of eight playing in pairs played a four ball better ball competition with all scores to count, the prize was Gooks old Flukin iron.
