The Coronation Foursomes Competition was held on Friday 23rd May in excellent playing conditions and it was the mother and daughter combination of Barbara and Sue Willmott who proved to be the strongest pairing on the day. Their names go forward to the LGU and they wait to see if their winning points total is good enough to secure a place in the area finals later in the year.

On Tuesday 27th May, competition was fierce as players strived to win silverware in medal competitions on both courses. Jo Gadney was delighted to successfully defend her title and retain the Dana Bowl, one shot ahead of Sue Kingston whilst Viv Steer claimed the Neale Cup with eight shots to spare.
