Daily Mail Foursomes Second Round Win!

Our ladies were treated to another cold and drizzly Monday morning for the second round of the Daily Mail Foursomes Knockout! Barbara Graham and Sarah Sandercock (pictured) played against a Trevose team of Alison Higman and Helen Shaw, our ladies giving 10 shots.

A nip and tuck first nine saw the ladies all square going down the 10th. Good wins on 10 and 11 put them 2-up at the 12th. Trevose took the next two holes with excellent play but our ladies came straight back winning the 14th and 15th. This left them 2-up with 3 to play but still having to give 2 more shots. A half on the 16th disposed of one of them. A lovely drive straight down the middle on the 17th gave us the advantage and Barbara and Sarah closed the match winning 2&1.

They now wait to see who their third round opponents are and at which venue it will be played. Congratulations to both ladies!
