On a cold, sunny and blustery November day, St Enodoc took on St Austell in the quarter finals of this winters CTC competition at Perranporth. The morning foursomes matches were closely contested with all going to at least the sixteenth hole. St Enodoc won three of the four games with Jack Irwin and Mike Masters recovering from three down after six holes to earn a half. Joe Combellack playing at ninth man had a resounding win before retreating into his hoodie to watch the afternoon singles!
The afternoon matches were competitive with Steve Buse and Lewis Bradley showing grit and determination to win after being three down early on. St Enodoc forged ahead winning six out of eight to finish comfortable winners. The semi- final match will be against Mullion on February 24th 2019.
