Yesterday evening (10th May 2020) UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a number of measures relating to the Coronavirus epidemic. Amongst these was a return to golf can take place in England with effect from Wednesday 13th May 2020. Johnson will make a further statement to the Commons later today when he is expected to expand on his Sunday address amid calls for additional clarity. Golf courses in England will have been closed for nearly two months, from March 23 to May 13
