Requirements and Process
Church Course Closure
Commences Wednesday 11th September (15:30) - Course reopens (07:30) Saturday 14th September
This year the Church Course will need to be hollow cored with a 13mm tine. It will incorporate the surrounds and tees.
The process consists of firstly taking a core from the surfaces, they are then removed to leave a clean surface for the next stage.
Once the cores have been cleaned from the surface, a fescue seed mix and a granualted bio stimulant will be applied to aid recovery. The operation will then be completed with a top dressing of pure sand. Using sand will fill the holes and create soil to seed contact for better germination.
Holywell Course
The Holywell will require a similar process but with a 13mm solid tine, this will cause less disruption therefore producing a quicker operation.
Overseeding and bio-stimilant will also accompany the work carried out on the course.
