As recorded in the recent minutes of the Management Committee meetings on January 11th and January 24th the focus on clubhouse development has now reverted to upgrading the existing clubhouse, without any new major changes to the floor plan of the building. After considerable review of member feedback it is apparent there is no singular plan that is universally accepted. The Committee has now come to the conclusion that taking care of the existing clubhouse should be their primary focus.

The above is obviously an ambitious list and needs more work in terms of cost estimates and other planning before any work commences. The Committee are aware that the Club is hosting the 2014 English Ladies Close Amateur Championships in May of 2014, which could have some bearing on certain parts of the refurbishment plans, i.e. Ladies changing rooms and Bar areas as a high priority.
