This annual event, and held this year at Tehidy GC, runs over 4 days from Thu 18/4 - Sun 21/4.
Sixty four ladies are selected from the many entries throughout Cornwall, only the lowest handicappers are chosen. On the first day all 64 play a 36 hole medal and the 32 lowest gross scores are put through in two flights of 16 to compete for the Championships and the Plate. The first flight of 16 play for the Championships and the second flight play for the Plate. Sarah Sandercock and Sue Ofield have qualified to play in the Plate on the second day, Friday 19 April.

The webmasters reporter (AKA the Ladies Captain) at Tehidy now advises that both Sue Ofield and Sarah Sandercock have won through to the second round of the plate beating Sally-Anne Storey (Newquay) 2&1 and Karen Langford (Tehidy) 4&2 respectively.

Sue Ofield fought a tough match against Charlotte Britton from Bude but unfortunately lost on the 15th - well done Sue for four great games in two days.
Sarah Sandercock won her match against Suzanne Courtenay of Bude (3/1) and is now through to the semi-final of the Plate on Saturday morning against Vicky Lee-Comyn from Perranporth. If she wins she\'ll be playing in the final on Sunday
