Church & Holywell Courses will re-open on Wednesday 13th May

After many weeks of lockdown the U.K. government have lifted some of the restrictions that have been necessary to try to combat the Coronavirus.

The Management Committee of the Club have agreed to reopen both courses from Wednesday 13th May 2020.

The following booking rules have been agreed for the safety of our staff and Members until further notice.

PLEASE, always keep to the 2 metres social distancing rules.

Golf and booking guidelines

One or Two Balls only per tee time at 10-minute intervals. (If you book a tee time after a 7 minute interval time – please allow extra time before teeing off (+3 minutes).

All golf played must have a booked tee time, no golf permitted before or after tee times have started or finished.

Commencement of all rounds must be from the 1st Tees of both courses. For safety reasons it is not permitted to join the course from any other point.

Staff will be present on the 1st tee of both courses.

You must only arrive 15 minutes before your tee time and leave as soon as your game has finished.

If you are using the Driving Range to practice before your game, then please report to the tee or the duty ranger 15 minutes before your tee time..

No roll ups permitted.

Tee times can be booked by Members via the Club website – please ensure you have registered to enable your username and password.

If you are signing in a guest then greenfees must be paid in advance by telephone with card payment only.

When booking as a pair, both players names are required.

If booked as a single player another member may join you.

Tee times can only be booked 7 days in advance.

The start sheets will open up at 8 am each morning.


All golf equipment must arrive and leave with you.

All golf shoes must be changed in the car park.


The Clubhouse will remain closed.

The Driving Range will be open. (A maximum of 5 players in the range at any one time). Sharing of range balls is not permitted for safety reasons.

The changing room toilets and halfway toilets will be available to use.

(Please use the Hand Sanitisers provided before touching the keypad entry locks).

Shoe cleaning equipment is not in use.

Golf Courses

All rakes have been removed from the bunkers.

All flags must remain in the hole, the ball will only drop into the top of the hole and can easily be retrieved without touching the flag stick. (Retrieve with the head of your putter only).

Ball scoops - have been removed.

Benches-out of use.
