Charles Rayment Club Captain (left) congratulates the day's winners Phil Aston and Mark Nichols from Staddon Heights GC - well played !
With 128 entries , a beautiful sunny day and the Church Course looking quite stunning with greens running at 10.8 everything was in place for a great day on the links.
From the moment entrants arrived, they were met with smiling faces from staff and Members who kindly gave up their time to make sure everything worked efficiently.
Out on the course Caroline Hume - Kendall ran the gambling hole on the 5th and raised a substantial amount of money thanks to players generosity, Paul Godfrey and Steve Smith ran the very welcome drinks station. After the round the players enjoyed an excellent meal in the dining room and on the balcony.
My thanks to everyone involved in making the day one St Enodoc can be proud of.
My congratulations to the Ladies Captain in raising £1300 for FLEET from the raffle.
Final figures from the day to come but it is anticipated that a figure in the region of £5000 was raised. As members will know we have alongside the day been running an online Silent Auction, and the total amount raised was £6306. This would not have been possible without the huge generosity from some of our Members, thank you so much.
