..….and then the wind dropped and the sun shone; what had started out chilly, the odd shower and grey turned into a lovely afternoon which certainly was to the benefit of the later starters. 32 pairs entered to play in the Bray Bowl, one of the Club\'s oldest competitions, first played for in 1902. The format was, as always, a Mixed Foursomes Medal which is withour doubt the hardest format in which to score well with no hiding place for a disaster.
The scores were exceptionally good helped not only by the weather but also the excellent condition of the course and particularly the greens along with the rough being so light this early in the year. Anders and Trudie Tensjo continued their run of good form to win yet again with a terrific net 67.5. Those in the prizes of wine and very seasonal Easter eggs were:-
1st Anders & Trudie Tensjo 67.5
2nd Sam Jarvis & Sarah Fisher 69.5
3rd Andy Bunt & Terri Gliddon 71
4th Charles & Mary Rayment 73
5th John Paul & Ruth East 74.5
