St. Enodoc Golf Club - A Very Happy Christmas & New Year to all St Enodoc Members

A Very Happy Christmas & New Year to all St Enodoc Members

The Webmaster and his elves would like to wish all St Enodoc Members and their families a Very Happy Christmas and a great golfing New Year. May all your handicaps come tumbling down in 2016.

The past year has of course been the 125th Anniversary of the founding of our great club. This has been celebrated in a number of ways starting with the Club Captain\'s 72 hole marathon in aid of the Macmillan Trust Cove project at Treliske. Then there was the very successful 125th Anniversary Golf Week culminating in the Hickory Challenge when all those competing entered into the spirit of the occasion.

The 125th Anniversary was of course a great opportunity for publicity and we got plenty, especially after the Media Day when we wined and dined the National and local Press and TV. Through the website, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram we continue to market our great course. The many kind remarks we receive from visitors are testament to the condition of the courses and status of St Enodoc. Our Seasonal greetings are also extended to those who may not be Members but who nevertheless follow our fortunes through social media or the press.

All of the old tosh we put on the website in the past twelve months would not have been possible without support from a good many willing volunteers not the least of which are - Annie Cruse, Tamsin Blake, Nicki Reader, Heather Clemens, John Harbinson, David Balmford and Stuart Morley.
