Last week The St Enodoc Ladies travelled to Killiow for a league match. It was a fairly calm dry day and the course played well although a little bouncy after the mainly dry weather. Some good matches ensued but sadly the eventual result was a loss of 5 games to 2.
On Tuesday it was time to play the annual Sir Cecil Carr 4 Club Competition on the Church Course with donations being made in memory of our late member Bernice Hancock. An astonishing score of 45 points proved that Shannon Ashcroft did not need her full set of clubs to play our difficult course. She was followed by Sue Foster on 37 points which in itself was an excellent score. Maybe we should ask them which clubs they used and follow their example!!!
A 4 club competition was also played on the Holywell Course. The winner with 37 points was Helen Russell. In second was Cath Buscombe with 35 and third was Mary Killingley with 34.
