A field of 60 golfers entered the Sir Cecil Carr played on the 6th October and those who entered were greeted with sunshine and light winds. The format for the Cecil Carr only allows for a maximum of four clubs one of which must be a putter, although scoring in this format tends be worse than usual up and coming youngster Sam Jarvis posted a score that he could of been proud of with 14 clubs coming top of the pile with 35 points, this in included an inward nine of 19 points. Nick Clarke came in second with a very respectable 34 points followed closely in third by Rich Hawken with 33 points.
69 golfers took part in the Sweep Stableford played on the 13th October. Golfers were greeted with sunny skies although there was a healthy breeze which strengthened as the day went on, scoring proved difficult on the day with John Pease being the only player to come in with a score below handicap after returning a score of 37 points to finish in first place. Second and third place could only be separated on countback with both players shooting 36 points, Michael McKelvey just pipping Matthew Mills.
